3rd Grade Red Progress Report
Well we dint finish on top so much as equal top, 2nd on percentage to Southport who we meet this Saturday in the 3rd Grade Grand Final at Runaway Bay.
Cricket can be a cruel game with the weather affecting it like no other sport that springs to mind and so it was that half a dozen or so of our teams were cruelly eliminated from the finals without a ball being bowled in anger, the ones in fact only lost 1 game for the year!
Never the less after a very hard fought battle with our fellow Bushmen on the weekend we find ourselves at the big dance V The Tigers and our boys will do their level best to bring home a flag for the club in its 125th year!
Once again the youngster have stood tall and I’m sure they will give a 100% this week, we will miss Nick Gentle & Luke Alker who have been a huge part of our season as they head off on Wed to play Rugby in Scotland, a great opportunity and the red team wish them both well. This will open us up to a change or two and we will stick with the kids.
10.00am start Saturday and Sunday so get along to the Bay and support the Bushmen
